Christmas trees for town centre homes and businesses

Each Christmas nearly 100 householders and businesses, mostly in the town centre, put a lighted Christmas tree on the front of their premises. The effect is quite magical!

If you have moved to the town recently and wondered why there is a bracket on the front of your house, now you know!

Order forms for trees (and brackets to put them in) have been delivered to about 250 addresses. If you did not receive one or have mislaid it, leaflets with more information and an order form can be obtained from Evenlode Books (they are in the dispenser on the window).

There is a strong preference in the town for old-fashioned yellowish-white lights (i.e. NOT BLUE!). As in previous years, John Lewis appear to have appropriate low energy LED outdoor lights: order from their website using product number 76659325.

Forms must be returned BY FRIDAY OCTOBER 28th at latest.
