The Stable

THE STABLE- SELF CATERING ACCOMODATION for 1-2 people.
The Stable is a cosy, comfortable annex to the cotswold stone 'Reeves Barn'. It has it's own entrance and parking. Located on the edge of the town close to the River Evenlode and the countryside walk of 'The Oxfordshire Way'. It is an ideal base for touring the Cotswolds and is only 15 minutes from the mainline Railway Station at Charlbury connecting to London-Oxford-Worcester-Hereford.

Hixet Wood Barn

Hixet Wood Barn is a spacious barn conversion situated on the outskirts of the small Cotswold town of Charlbury, Oxfordshire. It has been sensitively converted to provide very comfortable accommodation for two, but can sleep up to four people. A cot and high chair are available. The barn comprises one large sitting/dining room with a wood burning stove and a spiral staircase leading up to a large balconied sleeping area. There is a separate kitchen and bathroom. Off-road parking is available.

Lower End Barn is located on a quiet lane within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Charlbury, a small market town within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town has four good pubs (2 with good food) and a selection of shops. The main line station offers regular service to Oxford & London Paddington and to Malvern & Worcester. Half-hourly bus services run to Woodstock (Blenheim Palace) and to Oxford. The beautiful towns of Burford and Chipping Norton are 15 minutes away by car. A little further afield are Moreton in Marsh, Bourton on the Water, Stratford Upon Avon and Cheltenham. An extensive network of footpaths and bridleways cover local villages and the ancient forest of Wychwood.

This is a perfect place to settle whilst exploring the Cotswolds. A 17th century cottage tucked away in the hamlet of Taston in the Evenlode valley. A warm welcome into my cosy, comfortable home. Privacy, peace and wonderful views will be yours to enjoy. It is a walkers paradise with many local footpaths. Charlbury station is 2 miles, Chipping Norton & Gt Tew are 5 miles and it is only 12 miles to Oxford. Many local foodie pubs, a vibrant theatre in Chipping Norton and an artistic community.
