New Permissive Cycle Route

Charlbury Cycling Group, and Cornbury Park Estate are pleased to announce that for a trial period of the three months, until 30th September, a permissive cycle route will run from the North Lodge entrance of the estate to the Southhill Business Park, and the onto the Witney Road. This route will follow the line of the present footpath and use the recently surface route around the gatehouse.

The route will allow safe off road access to and from Charlbury and Finstock and will provide a safe alternative to the Fawler Road.

Users are asked to remember this is a permissive route and should give way to walkers, and also to take care on the access road between Southhill Business Park and the Witney Road.

The route will be signed making users aware of the trial, and also other users aware of the cycle use of the route.

Charlbury Cycle group would like to thank the Estate for entering into this trial.

The route will not be open to cyclists during the Wilderness Festival weekend."
