New online map shows local rights of way and walks
A new online map to help people get out and explore the countryside has been launched by Oxfordshire County Council.
The interactive service shows public rights of way, open access land and some of the best walks and rides throughout Oxfordshire.
An ‘Activity’ option allows users to access only information which suits them - for example, displaying paths specifically for walking, cycling or horseriding.
Searches can be made by parish or postcode to centre the map on specific locations, and distances can be measured to help choose appropriate routes. Users can also report any problems with paths they encounter when out and about.
