Walkers are Welcome – Forest of Wychwood Walk (Wednesday 8th April)

All are welcome to join our next Walkers are Welcome guided walk — a scenic circular route through the Evenlode Valley and Wychwood Forest.

Date: Wednesday 8th April

Time: 10am (meeting at Charlbury Station to meet visitors arriving on the 10:09 train)

Distance: 9 miles

Difficulty: Moderate

The walk takes in parts of the historic Wychwood Forest, Cornbury Estate, and the villages of Chilson and Finstock, with lovely countryside views along the way. We’ll also visit Shorthampton Church, known for its historic wall paintings.

Lunch stop: The Plough Inn, Finstock

Additional information:

Please wear suitable walking footwear (some sections may be muddy)

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times
