Oxford Station Access Arrangements - Sun 1 Feb to Sun 8 Feb
CLPG has been asked by Network Rail and GWR to pass this information to users of Oxford Station during the period Sunday 1st to Sunday 8th February,
All Cotswold Line trains to and from Charlbury will terminate at, or start from, platform 1 or 2 at Oxford during this period.
For passengers wishing to continue their journey beyond Oxford, the walking route to the replacement buses in the long-stay car park will be clearly signed and marshals will be present.
For passengers wishing to access Botley Road and West Oxford, there will be two step-free and accessible routes through the station, with temporary ‘bridges’ linking platforms 3 and 4. One route will be westbound and the other eastbound. With the walkway linking Frideswide Square and Botley Road being closed whilst the railway bridge work is taking place, both routes will be shared with the general public. There will be signs and marshals to provide information and assistance 24/7.
