Reading Room opens at the Corner House
With just a few more improvements to come (new curtains, a lick of paint) the new Reading Room is now officially open at the Corner House.
It doubles as the main part of the Community Bookshop, and there are hundreds of books for sale there (the attached picture shows just half of them). But you don't need to buy a book -- you can buy a coffee & cake instead at the delicatessen downstairs (ask for a takeaway mug), and sit upstairs reading any of our books or periodicals, or one of your own. Or feel free to work on your laptop in the warmth, quiet & comfort -- it will leave more room for others in the, rather cosy, café downstairs.
