Have you got a question about living well with dementia or are you concerned about someone and would like advice?
Julia Burgess, our local Dementia Oxfordshire Adviser, is starting a new Community Clinic as an opportunity for anyone living with dementia or awaiting a diagnosis and/or their carers, or anyone concerned about someone they know, to book an appointment with her to get advice and support.
Julia will aim to help with the following issues:
• How to best support someone living with dementia
• Local services, social groups, and leisure opportunities
• Staying independent and adaptations for the home
• Legal issues, finances, benefits, and allowances
This service will start on a trial basis on 9 July. Julia will be at the Southerndown Care Home, Worcester Road, Chipping Norton OX7 5YF on the second Tuesday of every month from 10.30 to 12.30.
