Support Local Families & Early Years Education
Did you know that three local pre-schools and nurseries have recently had to close because of financial and staffing pressures? Government funding at the current levels simply doesn’t cover the cost of providing quality childcare. On average, providers lose £2.20-2.30 per child, per hour.
Charlbury Pre-School has been part of the community for over forty years, and we have been working hard to secure our future. We have rolled out new initiatives to support the needs of our local families, such as extending our operational hours and working tirelessly on fundraising activities to support our financial stability. But still there is always much more to do!
We want to continue to support our local community and to do so we need your help… no matter how big or small! You don’t have to have a child enrolled to support us, you can help by:
- Getting in touch if you would like to help financially or practically.
- Becoming part of the ‘Friends of Charlbury Pre-School’ community.
- Getting in touch if you have experience writing grants.
- Taking part in our upcoming fundraising events.
