Your doctor isn't the only person who can help you feel better - an opportunity to find out more on 14 March at the Community Centre

There is now a “Social Prescriber”, Jennifer Dixon-Clegg, working alongside the GPs, nurses and other members of the primary healthcare team of the Charlbury Medical Centre (CMC). Jennifer’s role is to help CMC patients find out what non-medical options are available for dealing with any issues that are worrying them, in order to benefit their health, wellbeing and independence.

Social Prescribers work with people aged 18+. They can help people to connect to useful non-medical services, support, activities and opportunities which exist locally and which can improve health and help people to live life to the full.

Jennifer will be in the Charlbury Community Centre on Tuesday 14th March from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and will be pleased to see anyone who would like to drop in and find out how she could help them or someone they know.
