Trees planted in memory of the late Queen
Thanks to a generous Bursary applied for by the Patient Group Committee, and subsequently received from Wilderness, we have now planted three trees , in keeping with the late Queen’s wish to plant a million trees for her Jubilee last summer .
Two of these are on Nine Acres , a native oak and a field maple, with a small rowan outside the Medical Centre. Many thanks to all those who helped source the trees, decide on the site, plant and stake them, and are continuing to look after them through regular watering .
