Charlbury Museum News
There are some changes planned at the Museum.
The Museum started in 1949 as a part of the Charlbury Society and has grown from a room in the attic of the Corner House to the Museum you see today.
Plans are being made for the Museum to register with the Charity Commission as a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation). It will mean becoming independent of the Charlbury Society, but the aim is to keep close ties with it.
As a CIO the Museum will need trustees with a variety of experience who can help move it forward. If you are interested in becoming a trustee do let us know at info@charlburymuseum.org.uk or put a note through the Museum’s door in Market Street, telling us how you feel you could help us in our future.
