Christmas Tree Festival 2022
We are excited about holding the Christmas tree festival again this year, and hope that many organisations and groups from Charlbury will participate by sponsoring a tree.
The festival will begin on Thursday 8th December with events over that first weekend, and run until 28th December. Bookings are going well, and there is still time to book a tree, so please download and complete the form below or email Hilli and Mary on charlburyctf@gmail.com
As before, the festival aims to bring people, local organisations, charities and schools together – each decorating their own tree. As well as the display of trees, there will be a café, the opening ‘Jazz & Trees’, party on Friday 9th, and a concert with the well-known local choir Wychwood Chorale on Saturday 10th. The party will be a ticketed event
Ways of helping include
• Sponsoring a tree to be decorated by your organization, school or charity.
• Providing catering or support for the Festival, and for the musical events
• Sponsoring the food or drink for the party or concert or helping with any aspects of the festival. We also need some cakes made and helpers for the café.
The money raised will be donated to the St Mary’s appeal.
