Discretionary Council Tax Rebate: July 5 deadline
Financial support is now available for people who were not eligible for the Government's recent £150 council tax rebate. See the WODC website for the detailed eligibility criteria: https://www.westoxon.gov.uk/150rebate
There is limited funding available, but criteria for eligibility include people on low income, people living in supported accommodation, people living in Housing of Multiple Occupation, people receiving certain benefits, plus those who have been diagnosed as severely mentally impaired, but who did not qualify for the Government’s £150 Energy Rebate.
It also includes cases where a review, proposal or appeal pre-dating the Government’s announcement on 3 February 2022 is successful after 1 April 2022.

Applications are open until 5 July.
