Staffing at Charlbury station
In the wake of the illness and death of John, the staffing issues at Charlbury station do not appear to be being resolved.
The ticket hall is open around two days a week at present, the next day being Saturday.
Unfortunately the station’s operator isn’t posting updates here or on the National Rail website - a piece of paper in the ticket office window or a word while picking up your coffee from Cafe de la Gare are your best bets. The ticket office was also out of order this morning.
