Cornerstone - Food Larder

The Cornerstone food larder has been emptied completely this week! If you have spare in date unwanted food items at home do bring them down to us. Also if you do a weekly shop, would you consider adding a few items for us to have on the food larder. Examples of useful products are ant type of tinned food, rice, pasta, pasta sauces, condiments, toiletries etc.

The larder is filled regularly to ensure that there is food available for anyone that visits Cornerstone in need of items. It doesn't tend to be stocked with surplus so there is no need to use the items unless you are in need of them.

Our shelves with fresh produce are absolutely for everyone to take what they can use, as the produce is surplus and will go to waste if not used. Everything here can be taken for free, but as we are funded solely by donations and grants, we are very grateful for cash or card donations in store. If you have spare produce from your garden or allotment we would love you to donate it to us.

Do come in to Cornerstone if you would like to chat about what we do. Open Monday - Saturday 10am - 1pm, or email me on cornerstone@charlburychurch.uk

We are also having a display at the Town Council meeting Friday night 6.30pm.
