The practice manager expects there will be additional pressure on the availability of appointments for the month of April and particularly in the next week or so with sickness absence of clinicians. When Dr Hurney returns at the beginning of May, there will be once again a full complement of GPs.
In the meantime please continue to contact the practice if you are very unwell, experiencing symptoms that may indicate a serious condition, or have a sick child.
Pharmacies are able to offer expert advice on many common conditions and some injuries:
aches and pains, sore throat, coughs and colds (but not Covid,) earache, cystitis - urine infections, skin rashes and severe reactions to insect bites.
The Practice hope to offer Covid boosters to those eligible by the end of April, depending as always on delivery of vaccine.
