New X9 bus timetable from 3rd April

The Witney/Chipping Norton bus (Pulhams X9) will have a slightly revised timetable from 3rd April. You can see the full timetable here.

Changes are:

  • The former 17.15 bus from Witney now runs 25 minutes earlier, departing Market Square 16.50 and arriving at the Bell at 17.13.
  • The former 18.15 bus from Witney now runs 15 minutes later, departing Market Square 18.30 and arriving at the Bell at 18.53.
  • The former 17.30 bus from Chipping Norton now runs 15 minutes later, departing West Street at 17.45 and arriving at the Bell at 18.05. (This will run Mon–Sat.)
  • The Saturday-only 18.05 bus from Chipping Norton no longer runs.

The changes are a knock-on effect of the X8 Kingham–Chipping Norton bus no longer running.

All bus services are experiencing lower passenger numbers at the moment and the X9 is no exception. Please support your local bus! Travel is free for older passengers with a bus pass (Oxfordshire County Council reimburses Pulhams for your fare) – see the OCC website for how to apply for a pass.
