Recycle your Christmas Cards

During January, take your Christmas Cards to WH Smith, Marks & Spencer, or Tesco stores. They are collecting them for the Woodland Trust who recycle them to generate money for planting new woodlands in the UK. Save your greetings cards during the year and donate them to the Woodland Trust next January. www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/cards/index.htm

Because of extra waste at this time of year, WODC have provided every household with a clear Christmas sack designed to hold one type of recyclable material only - paper/card, plastic bottles, or tins. This can be put out for the waste collections on Friday 2 January and Thursday 8 January.
