Transport to COVID 19 vaccines in Carterton on Saturday, 3rd April

Anyone wanting to request transport help from All Together In Charlbury (ATIC) in order to get to Carterton for a second COVID vaccine on Saturday, 3rd April who has not already made a booking, should ring our call centre on 01993 776277 no later than 12.30 p.m. on Thursday, 1 April. After that our call centre will not be staffed until Tuesday, 6 April due to the Easter bank holiday weekend break.

Otherwise, if you cannot avoid making a last-minute request, please use the ATIC mobile number 07487 413892 - but this is the only time this number should be used.

Anyone wanting to ask for transport for any other day should phone 01993 776277 in the normal way (9.00 to 1.00 p.m. Mon - Fri) -( messages can be left on the answerphone, as necessary.)

For those who will be driving themselves to Carterton Health Centre, ATIC suggests that the best route is to go via Burford. (As you may know, the road to Witney via Finstock railway bridge is still closed.) But please note that Market Street is due to be closed for Gigaclear work from 30 March, so the Burford road (Dyers Hill and past the station) will need to be accessed via Nine Acres Lane and then Thames Street.

If you would like an annotated map of Carterton town centre (also containing directions via Burford), you can download one from the ATIC page in the Community section of this website (Charity and World) or email charlburyalltogether@gmail.com. There are also copies at Cornerstone at the Corner House.
