Charlbury Meals on Wheels celebrates Christmas 2020
Twenty-three freshly cooked Christmas meals were delivered to residents of Charlbury, Chadlington, and Stonesfield today. Thanks to the cooking talents of Ally, Marianne, and Jules, the meals have arrived weekly throughout the challenging year of 2020.
We have also been fortunate to have a small, dedicated group - Jan, Jim, Brigid, David, Tonya, Lydia, Annie, Liz, and Graham - who have kept the wheels for the meals moving to make deliveries as per Susan's direction. MoW is an enduring Charlbury-based volunteer program having served local people for nearly 60 years.
Meals are delivered each Tuesday at midday. The cost is £3 per meal. Please contact mglasgow@theridgegroup.com for more information or if you would like to volunteer in 2021.
