CRAG collection of clothes and blankets for refugees is now complete

Supporters of the Charlbury Refugee Action Group (CRAG) have been extraordinarily generous, yet again, in supporting our recent plea for warm clothing, blankets etc on behalf of refugees who are sheltering in horrible conditions in the Calais area.

A good four car-loads or more have been handed over to the two charities Help Refugees and Care4Calais, and under their auspices our donated stuff will be very soon on its way across the Channel; hopefully bringing some comfort at this most miserable season.

CRAG cannot accept any further donations of material at present, but we'll post news here of any future collections in aid of refugees in France and Greece.

Meanwhile, do take a look at CRAG’s Christmas tree among the wonderful array of trees lining the pathway in St Mary’s churchyard. Alongside the CRAG tree you will find information about our Christmas appeal should you wish to donate much needed funds.
