CHARLBURY STREET FAIR 10K – Back to Tradition!

Last year, foolishly, we meddled with tradition and relocated the Start/Finish to Church Street, outside The Bell. It didn’t work! We lost the important atmosphere of a community “gathering” and it messed up the course measurement.

So, this year, on SUNDAY 21ST SEPTEMBER, the Street Fair 10K (& its cute little sibling: the 5K) returns to its cultural home; the PLAYING CLOSE and, for the many to whom it really matters, it will be a properly measured 10K!

Sorry for last year’s “blip” and for the frustration caused. Hope all of you ‘regulars’ and many newcomers will turn out to run, jog or walk through that magnificent landscape which is Cornbury Park.

Now for the ‘sting’ – if you’re not going to out pounding the turf, could you offer us a couple of hours to help with the Start/Finish registration & timing or to be a the proud wearer of a ‘flo-glo’ vest as a course marshal?

Volunteers can contact Phil on philmorgan717@hotmail.com
or Steve on stephen.andrews@phonecoop.coop or Pete on peter.wright@homecall.co.uk.

Thank you all in advance!
