Detectorists unearth exciting new finds
A bronze axe head and Roman coins made of silver were among finds when metal detectorists returned on Wednesday to work on fields alongside Forest Road. The man who unearthed the Walcot hoard of Roman bronze confirmed that all the coins discovered two weeks ago are now being examined by the British Museum.
