Post Office to move to Co-op

Post Office Ltd is proposing to move Charlbury's Post Office from its standalone premises on Market Street to the Co-op on Enstone Road.

A consultation is now underway on the proposed change. Post Office services would be available from "a till on the retail counter" during the Co-op's standard 7am-10pm opening hours, seven days a week. Post Office Ltd says that all the services available at the current location will be available when relocated to the Co-op, including all mail services, banking, bill payments, car tax and travel money. It describes the relocated facility as "one of our new local style branches".

More information:

The consultation starts today, 17th November, and finishes on 8th January. The move to the Co-op is scheduled for March.
