Weight restriction on river bridge
Oxfordshire County Council are about to impose a temporary 7.5T weight limit on the bridge over the Evenlode at the bottom of Dyer's Hill, by the railway station. The diversions, due to come into effect at the start of the week, are due to concern about the bridge structure. Heavy traffic will be asked to divert via Chipping Norton and Spelsbury.
