Views sought on proposed household recycling centre in Chipping Norton

West Oxfordshire District Council is proposing to develop a household recycling centre, subject to planning, at Greystones, a former council depot on the outskirts of Chipping Norton and is asking the public for thoughts on the proposals.

Residents are invited to come along and find out more about the proposals at any of the following informal drop-in consultation events:

  • Chipping Norton - Town Hall on Thursday 5 July from 12 noon to 8pm.
  • Chipping Norton - Leisure Centre on Saturday 7 July from 9am to 1pm.
  • Charlbury - The Corner House, Market Street on Thursday 12 July from 12 noon to 8pm.

Staff will be on hand to talk through the suggested plans and answer questions. Feedback from the consultation will help develop any future planning application.

If you cannot attend any of the consultation events but would like to find out more, detailed information will be available on the District Council website from Monday 2 July: www.westoxon.gov.uk/greystones. Alternatively, call 01993 861420. Consultation ends Friday 20 July 2012.
