Town Council snow update - help from farmers requested
The Town Council has been in touch with Oxfordshire County Council Highways department. They are doing their best to get to us, but are very stretched at present. We have been advised that any farmers who have suitable equipment and who would be willing to help clear the snow from the town and surrounding roads should contact OCC on 0845 3101111 for further advice and instructions. Some reimbursement may be available.
Thanks to those who have provided information on road and rail conditions and to all who have helped by clearing snow from their own pavements.
