Emergency medical supplies for Syria

Charlbury Refugee Action and several other local refugee groups are collecting Medical Aid for a container being sent to hospitals and doctors in Syria in September by the charity UK Action for Refugees.

Please leave things you wish to donate in the collection bin on the table just inside the door in the Corner House, or phone 811378 for other options.

Items you can leave in the bin in the Corner House (please do not leave any other items) are

Unwanted spectacles
Antiseptics etc.
Tourniquets
Medical tape
Gauze
Bandages, dressings, plasters
Hand sanitiser
Surgical masks
Gloves (latex and non-latex)

If you have medicines/drugs to donate, please call 811378 and we can collect from you.

It is not critical that items are within their use-by date. In the basement of a bombed-out hospital, any dressing or medication may be judged better than none. If in doubt, we can let the doctors out there decide.
