FASD Trust

FASD (Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders) is a range of physical and mental disabilities a person is born with because they have been exposed to alcohol while still in the womb. These challenges last a lifetime; there is no cure.

The FASD Trust offers support to those caring for and those working with children / young people affected by FASD. We are a national charity, but we are based in the Southill Business Park, Cornbury Park, Charlbury, as the charity was started by people from Finstock. We run support groups throughout the UK, with the Oxfordshire one being held in Long Hanborough.

We provide a range of training and information sessions on FASD, as well as raising awareness of the condition to increase the help given to those affected and also to prevent others being born with FASD.

You can find out more about us from our website, www.fasdtrust.co.uk, or you can call us on (01608) 811599 - and we always welcome visitors to our offices in The Granary, Southill Business Park, Cornbury Park.

We currently are short of volunteers to help out with some admin work - so if you have an hour or two to spare, you would be an even more welcome visitor - and we may even manage to find some biscuits to go with your coffee........

We are also looking at the moment for new computer equipment, so if you can help us out at all, please do get in touch.

We look forward to hearing from you,

Simon, Julia and the Team
