Reduce the risk of identity theft, bring confidential paper waste for secure shredding.

To reduce the number of people coming at the same time, we are suggesting two timeslots according to your surname:
surnames A-M, please come between  6.30-7pm
surname N-Z, please come between 7-7.30pm

Bring your bags to the One Village warehouse on the trading estate just over the railway bridge on Forest Road (OX7 3HH). Cost is £5 per bag with 50% going towards local causes. Heavy duty polypropylene sacks able to hold 20kg of paper are available FREE from Christine at the weekly collection of Styan fruit and veg boxes outside the community centre every Saturday afternoon 1.30-3pm. Sacks are also available from The Cornerstone at The Corner House.

No need to remove staples, paperclips or plastic spines, but please DO NOT include plastic sleeves, folders or CDs.

Certificate of destruction provided if required. The paper gets reprocessed into paper products within just a few weeks.

Organised every May and November by Charlbury Green Hub. Since 2009, when this event was first arranged in Charlbury, 7,400kg of paper have been shredded which is equivalent to 110 trees and over £1,700 has been raised for Charlbury charities.
