If it’s a legal trail hunt, which it should be, the trail won’t have been laid anywhere near the town.

Pete, nobody wants your hunt anywhere near town.

Hi Peter, I'm assuming as you've warned us about the hunt you have some connection to it or role in organising it. Here's a link to the gov.uk page on what hunting is illegal and what is allowed: https://www.gov.uk/hunting - maybe you can put our minds at rest by telling us what kind of hunt is taking place.

Unfortunately i am not a man of law so cannot comment on the legalities, i am simply making locals aware that they’re in the area to avoid any complications on the road. But while we’re at it, let’s keep spouting the “lesser species” type terminology, scum being a favourite

Peter can you confirm this hunt is legal?

Do we know what time these lesser species (in the company of hounds and horses and - hopefully not - foxes) will be in the vicinity?

Quite honestly wasn’t looking for a debate about why it’s wrong, or why you disagree with it, the fact of the matter is, it’s happening… on Thursday… in the area. Gather up your cats, wives and children and lock your doors. Any complaints can be sent to WWW.CharlburyCitizensAreOnlyHappyWhenComplaining.com.

Changed their ways? Doesn't look like it. Besides the whole point is for them to do the opposite, in the name of antiquated bloodthirsty barbarism.

Here are some links for some context (although the prosecution was 10 years ago – perhaps their mindset has improved by now? Though I'm not hopeful): https://www.huntingact.org/news/heythrop-hunt-plead-guilty-to-illegal-hunting/ and https://www.wildlifeguardian.co.uk/hunts/heythrop-hunt/

Be mindful of cats being chased and trespassing private property. Why is this still taking place when it is illegal?

Just making all aware that the Heythrop hunt will be within the area of Woodstock road, inbetween Charlbury and Blenheim on Thursday so be mindful of horses and hounds while using this road.

Thanks
