Hi Liz, we've done plenty of that recently and would be happy to quote. Get in touch at ox7builders@gmail.com

Liz, we used Amazing Lofts (who are based near Banbury) in 2022, and they did a great job.

I'm also looking for recommendations for loft boarding companies. I'd be very grateful to hear from anyone who has had this done recently and would recommend the company they used.

Hello Kate, I'm on the town council's Buildings working group. Our aim is to help make homes warmer, cheaper to run and low-carbon. We're stepping up activities and are planning an open homes event on the weekend of 15-16 October (more info coming soon) among other things.

If you are looking for loft insulation (ie. on the floor of the loft) rather than room-in-roof insulation (attached to the sloping ceiling of a converted loft) then I can recommend sheepswool. This tends to be better than 'conventional' mineral wool for a number of reasons. It has a longer lifespan, is about 10 percent more thermally efficient, still works fine if it has been compressed, is non-toxic and generally easier to install.

Happy to advise further directly if that would help...

Has anyone had their roof insulated recently or have any recommendations? We have a cold cottage in need of some help. Would rather get someone knowledgable in…::
