Hi David,
I thought you might respond to this thread!
I should have realised the bass guitarist was missing! How come the two of you weren't on the photo'?
I don't remember much about Michael Benfield. Did he live in Charlbury and attend Spendlove or was he one of the elite, like yourself, and went to 'Chippy'!! I suppose he was known as 'Benny'!
Do you remember the famous occasion when I sang Dedicated Follower Of Fashion with the band at the Memorial Hall. Had the local girls swooning!!
I missed out on the walks-can't remember why. Were they organised by our youth club at the Methodist church?
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello Dave,
We must not forget Michael Benfield on the Hofner Fiddle Bass!!
As we are being nostalgic anyone left in Charlbury who went on either of the Great Oxfam walks to and from London in the Mid 60's?
Was I really alive way back then!!??

John,
Pete Cahill on drums with I think,Dennis Giles & Roger Bishop on guitars. David Walton (not in the photo') was the vocalist for a time.
If you see Pete, give him my regards.
Cheers,
Dave.

OK John, after one week, I've come to the conclusion that you are the only person who still lives in Charlbury (& uses this website) who will remember the Ripchords, so please provide the names & see if we agree.
