International Day of Climate Protest,including London Demo
Saturday, December 3rd 2005

December 3rd is the Saturday midway through the "MOP" (First "Meeting of Parties" to the Kyoto Protocol) Climate Talks in Montreal, 28th November-9th December. Demonstrations around the world are planned for this date
Help ceate a global wave of protest to press for the urgent action we need to prevent the catastrophic destabilisation of global climate.

Also you can help organise the National Demo for December 3rd and make it a bigger, better climate demo than ever before. Meet other climate campaigners and create a network for more demos in the future at :

Planning Meeting

Saturday October 1st

At the ASIAN CULTURAL CENTRE, Manzil Way, Off Cowley Rd, Oxford (next to mosque; No 5 bus from Railway station)
Speakers include
Mark Lynas (author "High Tide: News from a Warming World") and
George Marshall (co-director, Climate Outreach and Information Network)

After the Meeting the fun : Climate Gig 6.30pm – 2.00 am, at the East Oxford Community Centre (close to the Meeting venue), 44b Princes Street, Oxford OX4 1HU
Live sets, amplified and acoustic. DJs, visuals. Performers lined up so far - Nova (Ultimate), Youth (Dragonfly, Camouflage, LSD), Nic Manassa (but watch this space).
