Bosch Exxcel 7/4 Washer Dryer filter stuck

Thanks both, before posting on here I had already watched a number of you tube vids to try and work it out but my plate is circular rather than square and there doesn't seem to be a clip that I can see for a release. I don't want to keep prodding at it and risk forcing/breaking something hence asking for people. Hannen I will try reliable repairs thanks and much appreciate your both trying to assist :)

I am in need of someone who would know how to remove the kick plate surrounding the filter of this machine. The filter seems to be jammed by something meaning I can't turn it to remove and clean it.  I've tried myself but it seems to be (probably intentionally by bosch) more complicated than just undoing the screws and I don't want to force and break anything.

Any recommendations for someone who might be able to help would be great!
