Sat 25 May 2019, 20:27 Just for the record: I ordered tickets online last Tuesday for a journey on Thursday; when I went to pick up the tickets the machine wasn't working so, on Wednesday, I telephoned GWR to say I had no further opportunity to pick up my tickets and the girl told me that, so long as I boarded the train with my booking reference and the card I'd paid with, the ticket collector on the train would be able to issue me with the tickets via his machine. (This might be well-known information among Charlbury residents; if so I apologise for boring you but, in the past, I've been told just to show my receipt on my i-Pod.) |
