We have been contacted by phone by a number of estate agents, 10 since yesterday, asking to speak to Mr David Smith of Baytree Cottage, Charlbury, so that they can do a valuation prior to sale. If this is genuine, then they have been given the wrong phone number. If it is not, and if you own Baytree, you should probably check whether someone is trying to sell your house, which has become an increasingly common scam over the past few years.
