Sluice Gate Jammed - Mill field

Glad to be able to report that the sluice gate has now been raised so it is fully open
However there appears to be some damage the the Town Council will have to consider in the coming year
It has dried out quite a bit so easy to walk into the field again

Well now the Mill Field is totally flooded by the sluice gate
I was down there today and the flow over the field is quite strong so do not try to get into the field just now
It could be dangerous
As I said before we just have to wait for the water to go down so hope we don't get muchmore rain
I will be keeping an eye on it

This is just to let people know the sluice gate is jammed partly closed and cannot be opened until the water level drops
This does mean some flooding on the Mill Field
Ironically we were just about to repair the bank!
