Graham, cards can be recycled in your blue bin but not any with glitter.

I do that too Jon, or use them for the kids collage box of paper... and aside from any other high have foil or glitter, why couldn't they be recycled as normal card in our boxes?

Yes, at home! Cut the front off (most cards don't have writing on the back of the picture), buy or recycle some C6 envelopes (will fit most cards) and use the resulting 'postcards' next year. Donate 50p saved per card (maybe more! to your favourite charity.
