Aha ... thought so!
Let the wind blow free
Whe'ere it will
Let the wind blow free
Lest it kill thee
As it dost kil't me...

Epitaph on a gravestone - probably apocryphal!

I once lifted a sheep out of River Adur in Sussex. Did my back in. I am sure many jokes will be coming...

The link doesn't load here - blank screen. Firefox and Opera, Linux operating system. I also get Firefox trouble on displaying Charlbury website generally. Though this is a direct link.

I assume it's about them blowing (up) like staggers 'cos of digestive tract blocking leading to rupturing or suffocation, Being fermenting ruminants lots of CH4!

I've done a similar thing with a couple of people on their way home from the Rose and Crown

Learned as a boy working on a farm.Remember once that the bus stopped once, conductor jumped the hedge and set a ewe upright, waved and made off! Much more difficult is to get one out of the canal.

If so, here's what to do.

Don't be frightened. The sheep will run away from you as fast as it can.
