Hi Christine,
We're hoping to sort everything through next weekend (we have to set up on Tuesday 1st) so would like to collect it all by next Saturday at the latest - if it would help to have someone pick stuff up please call us on 811507/811968/811216.

Have you tried Facebook? Appear to be a lot of Charlbury events get a mention or advertised on there. If you wish I could put a notice on there for you if you let me know the details and your contact number....

Any suggestions on how to reach non forum reading people? Have put up posters but not sure we're reaching enough people

I'd be grateful if people who've promised clothing would drop them off within a week to ten days, as we're trying to sort stuff into categories and it's a big job!

Thanks to the person who dropped off 5 bin bags on Wednesday. Still grateful for more. Children, grandchildren, get them all clearing out please

Apologies anyone who has been trying to reach me to drop off clothes - I've been away, but I am now here and can receive or collect any bags. This is potentially a really big fund raiser if we can get enough stock, so please try and sort out anything spare you have!

Don't forget to clear out your cupboards to stock our Wilderness stall. All to enhance the Community Centre so a good cause. 811507

I am another drop off point: Bridge House, at the bottom of Dyers Hill on the left on your way to the station. Fine to leave things on the porch, or ring Nicola on 811507 if you need things picked up - all kinds of donations welcome, both mens and women clothing, festivally, vintage or just warm (bound to be snapped up by those feckless Festival-goers who have come out without a warm jumper!)

Thanks to the people who have already given us things. My address is Kimber Cottage, Woodstock Rd. Again, leave things on the doorstep or call 811507 first. I'm happy to pick things up if there's no rush.

I am one of the drop off points: 7 Lees Heights. Don't want to put others' addresses on here without their permission! You can leave things by the door if I'm not in. Hope this helps.

Please can you post drop off points?
Thanks

Better to ring before dropping off as we can't guarantee being in. There will be 3 Charlbury drop off points and if there's a lot it might be possible to have it collected. So call 811507 or 811968.

Perhaps you could put the drop-off address on the forum to avoid numerous calls including myself!

Nicola,

Ah, obvious when you know and a thoroughly good cause. I'm sure many people recognise the abbreviation but not all of us and with so many groups represented on here it may be worth just giving the full name when first mentioned and reverting to the initials thereafter. Just a thought. Good luck with the fund raising.

CCCA?

I'm helping to run the CCCA stall at the festival this year and it's going to be a vintage/secondhand clothing emporium. Please sift through your cupboards and donate any interesting stuff to us. We are also planning a jumble sale with what's left so as long as it's serviceable we will accept anything. The third level will be given to a scheme to clothe homeless people in Oxford, so nothing will be wasted. Call 811507 for further info.
