Pleased to read this as I thought it was the dismal weather causing no reception to my TV and hoped it wouldn't happen again.

Power back on in Hixet Wood

According to SSE, around 520 properties were affected after a fault tripped out a high-voltage supply cable. The chap I spoke to reckoned that the majority should be back on within an hour (which we were) with the possibility that a few houses might not have power until 7.30-8.30.

According to 105 the national grid are report a fault and power should be back on for around 7.30 this evening
