Don't forget too that the latest planning applications are posted in the News section here every Monday morning - this is done automatically and the info is taken directly from the WODC site.

Now that the WODC are no longer required to inform neighbours by mail of any recent planning applications, it often means that unless one actually passes the spot and notices the yellow sign, a development can be proposed without local residents being aware. You might find it useful to sign up for the MyAlerts link on the WODC website, which means that you are alerted to plans as soon as they are published. Helen Bessemer-Clark
