Blind bend overtaking

Just had a car overtaking me on a horse at the 90 degree bend on Grammar school hill - I gesticulated to stay back but he was round me by then so very lucky no one coming the other way. The next car also tried but understood my frantic wave to stay behind.. I was trotting to reduce their waiting time. Surely not local as virtually every driver in town is understanding, much appreciated. They were comng out of Cornbury Park.
