Thank you very much to Andrew Chapman, Richard Lovett, and Sue Terry for coming out at such short notice and helping to create what I think is rather a wonderful bark pathway. Thanks also to Beard for lending us a man to help and especially to JAG trees for supplying us with the bark FOC and to Jim Holah for organising that. No need to get your feet muddy now when coming from Nine Acres to the Co-op, doctors etc!

Do come and help if you can - the muddy path has been very difficult for a number of Charlbury's older people in recent weeks, and until the other route to the Co-op reopens when the Community Centre is finished, this is the main path from Nine Acres to the shops. (And big thanks to Tanya and to Jim Holah for doing something about this.)

It's a bit of a long shot and very short notice, but if anyone is free at 2pm today (Wednesday 1st) and could help us to spread some bark on the muddy path on Nineacres field, I'd be very grateful for some extra pairs of hands. The bark has been delivered and is waiting to be spread out. Please bring gardening gloves and a shovel.
