I looked with interest at the Rainfall report in the spring Charlbury Chronicle. Last autumn I queried an insurance company statement that we have increased rainfall today and looked up the Met Weather data for the Oxford station since 1964. Their data goes back to 1853. Looking at 10 year moving averages since 1964 precipitation at the Oxford station has gone up by 4.65%. Today I'm looking at a fallen tree in our garden! Strong winds, droughts followed by heavy precipitation. Oh dear.
