			 Thu 26 Jan 2017, 10:48 Sorely needed. Without something like CLTs, "affordable" housing in Charlbury subject to market forces will NEVER actually be affordable. The cheapest property in Charlbury today is a 2-bed flat at £265K. With a 10% deposit and a mortgage at 3.9% for 25 years, monthly repayments would be £1,250. For a 2 bed flat. The cheapest 3-bed house is £425K. How much would new 2/3-bed homes on a new estate go for?? |
