I had to chuckle this afternoon seeing the fantastic response from the firemen and firewomen of the Oxfordshire Fire Service when 3 fire engines and the fire officers red car swerved to a halt outside my office to deal with a chimney incident at The Bull. The words of the popular folk song came to mind ".....booze, booze the firemen cried as they came knocking at the door...."
