I had the same concerns as you but having spoke to the gentlemen owner of the dog it was clear he was a responsible person and that his pet clearly wasn't bothered by the fireworks. Maybe, instead of bashing the keyboard you'd have been better off confronting this person?

I'm not going to rant on about this, because quite frankly words fail me, but as the responsible & caring owner of 4 dogs, what kind of (insult removed --Richard) takes a dog to a firework display? Whoever you are, you need to go stand in the corner & have a word with yourself!!!!
